FINANCE FOR IMPACT to assess the promise of a wave energy innovation

The Solar Impulse Foundation has mandated FINANCE FOR IMPACT to assess a new wave energy harvesting technology for desalination. Wave energy is technically not as advanced as renewable sources like wind and solar, but it has promise for further development. FINANCE FOR IMPACT will assess an innovation consisting in building wave stations anchored floating facilities capable of diving underwater to the required depth to produce fresh water or electricity.
